With the TSH 1800 horizontal wire saw and the T 500 flat polisher, Thibaut proposes a solution for fabricating blocks into thin or thick slabs in granite, marble or limestone. The TSH 1800 is a horizontal wire saw installed on a 40-meter-long runway, which can be programmed to process 16 blocks at one time. The unit can run without supervision, due to an automatic system for inserting wedges between slabs. This also allows the machine to operate 24 hours per day. Thibaut reports that the wire executes flat horizontal cuts with minimal bowing, and it can process nearly 3,800 cubic feet of material with a single wire.
The TSH 1800 was also engineered for optimum safety, and it has received awards within the European marketplace for its success in this regard, Thibaut reports.
The T 500 flat polisher, which complements the TSH 1800 was designed as a rigid and accurate polishing machine with a cast iron beam. It is capable of polishing, surfacing, roughing, bushhammering and other functions. The T 500 can be positioned on the same runway as the Thibaut TSH 1800, streamlining operations in the shop.
