ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -- In August, Specialty Construction Brands, Inc. (SCB) named Chris Bailey the sales manager for TEC[r] brands, a leading brand of installation and care and maintenance systems for natural stone and tile flooring.

Bailey, who began his career in the tile industry in 1995 with Elk Grove Village, IL-based Mid-America Tile, most recently served as the eastern regional manager for TEC brands. Bailey joined the company in 1997, and has served as a strategic account manager for both the Chicago and Florida territories. In his new role, Bailey will oversee the nationwide team of TEC strategic account managers.

According to Luis Diego Rodriguez, SCB Director of Solutions, Bailey's well-rounded industry and sales experience will be instrumental in helping the company continue to exceed customer expectations. “Chris is a proven sales professional with significant insight and experience in the ceramic tile industry,” said Rodriguez. “He will definitely bring exciting and new ideas to our sales team as we deliver technical innovation and excellent service that help our customers succeed.”

Bailey is a graduate of Framingham State University in Framingham, MA, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology.
