An engraving tool based on laser technology is currently available from Omag. The LasiMark has an infrared laser beam, which is focused onto the surface
to be en-graved. The head is mounted into any numerically controlled machine tool like a normal mechanical tool. The LasiMark electronics, combined with the software driver, synchronizes the laser pulses and the power controller to the movement of the machine tool axes, plotting the desired images.
