The Piranha from U.S. Granite Machinery of Barrington, IL, was designed and built for high production and constant operation, and the company reports that it will run 90 to 180 linear feet per hour of consistent flat edging polishing non-stop.

The company guarantees that the machine will polish 2-cm material at a range of 3 to 4 feet per minute and 3 cm material at a rate of 1 1/2 to 3 feet per minute.

The controls of the Piranha were designed to be simple so fabricators can be up and running in a day, and the machine features a durable build for optimum longevity.

The machine features eight polishing heads, which means that a second pass is never needed, according to U.S. Granite Machinery.
