This includes kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and backsplashes, airport flooring, shopping centers and other public areas. Quarella produces various types of composite stone, including quartz-based slabs that are used mostly for kitchen countertops and marble-based albs for vanity tops and tiles. Stone composite (engineered stone) has a uniform flow and no two colors are the same, according to Universal Granite & Marble. They are also fairly consistent in color and veining, made of harder material and the fabrication process results in less wastage.
