Anyone who is considering using stone will benefit from the library, as it will enable both the experienced and the inexperienced stone enthusiast to enjoy natural stone in a beautiful setting, the company reports. The library provides seminars as well as a workplace for planning projects. Stones from across the world will be available for viewing as well as information on the stone's origin and uses. The Stone Library is the first of its kind, and is recognized by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) as the first center in the U.S. to offer Continuing Education Credits for its members.
Len Malavé, a lifetime stonemason, will conduct seminars at the library, and is looking forward to sharing his love and knowledge of natural stone. The Stone Library is open by appointment only. Contact Beverley Pearson at 704-372-0104 to schedule your visit or stop by the company's Web site at www.malavegranite.com to take a virtual tour of The Stone Library.
