The inaugural edition of the International Tile and Stone Show in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, (ITSS-Rio) has been rescheduled for June 7 to 9, 2007. Organizers of ITSS-Rio report that the decision was made with the support of Abirochas, the National Stone Association of Brazil. “ITSS is working closely with the Brazilian industry to create the best show in the best venue to advance the business of stone from Brazil, which will require more time to arrange the inaugural show,” stated the organizers.

ITSS also has editions in Las Vegas, NV, New York, NY, and Miami, FL, and organizers are looking to capitalize on the fact that Brazil has become the leading exporter of granite to the U.S., and its growth continues at double digit levels.
