Since the vast majority of stone countertop fabricators in this country are focused on kitchen work, it is a logical transition for them to also begin stocking sinks. This not only allows the fabricator to become more of a “one-stop shop” for their clients, but it also gives them another level of control in the process. By working with sinks that they are familiar with, fabricators are able to eliminate surprises, and they also have the opportunity to record a sink’s dimensions in their database, saving time for future work.

The following is a look at some of the sink offerings on the market today:

AmeriSink reports that the AS305 model has become a very popular addition to its product line. The look is described as slightly “industrial,” which offers a modern appeal. The lines are simple and clean, and the dimensions of the sink are 32 x 19 x 19 inches. This sink is made from handcrafted, Type 304 stainless steel. It is 18 gauge and has an 18/10 chrome-to-nickel content. The finish is brushed, and the sink comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

The AS123 model from AmeriSink features one-piece construction. The sink is made from a single piece of stainless steel, which adds additional strength to the product, the company reports.
