AKRON, OH - Jason “Jay” Pastorius has joined Global Granite & Marble as a sales representative to service the state of Ohio. Pastorius brings 11 years of experience in sales, marketing and management of the natural stone business to the Global Granite & Marble team. In his newly created position, Pastorius will introduce Global Granite & Marble natural stone products and specialty equipment to the state of Ohio.
Prior to joining Global Granite & Marble, Pastorius was a natural stone sales specialist with the L.E. Smith Co. in Bryan, OH, a regional account executive for Mont Granite Inc. in Solon, OH, the director of operations for Mont Granite’s Pittsburgh, PA, facility, and an account manager for Crown Tile & Marble Corp. in Akron, OH.
Pastorius received a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. He has attended numerous sales training seminars, and currently is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
