Art Portela
DANBURY, CT - Art Portela has been promoted to Inside Sales Representative for O&G Industries - Masonry Division.
In his new position, Portela will be responsible for developing relationships with potential clients and providing product solutions with existing customers to lead the Masonry Divisions efforts in securing additional business and growth in Fairfield County. “His extensive product knowledge, strong ties in the masonry industry and customer service experience fits with our long term sales strategy,” said Marc Moavero, General Manager of the Danbury store. “Art is the best candidate to fulfill our inside sales position opening, and we are pleased to announce his promotion.”
Portela has over two years of sales experience in the mason business, beginning his career as Construction Material Counter Sales in the Danbury stoneyard and mason store facility. Previously, he worked over 11 years with Pepsi-Cola, in various capacities including merchandiser and driver. He holds a trade certificate in Plumbing and Heating from Bullard Havens Technical School in Bridgeport, CT.
