As a 1920-born family company with strong ties to the surrounding territory in Italy, the firm first grew into Antolini Luigi & C. S.p.A. in 1956. As time went on, the family’s third generation -- embodied by siblings Alberto, Francesco and Alessandra -- established the company as one of the world’s main players in the stone field.
Today, there are more than 1,000 stone materials available from Antolini, including granite, marble, limestone, quartzite, onyx, travertine, Precioustone and Shellstone. It has also collaborated with the renowned crystal producer, Swarovski, on a project combining semi-precious and other exotic stone materials with patterns of Swarovski crystals.
The company processes 1.5 million square meters of slabs per year.
Not only does Antolini boast a large inventory of materials, but is also processes them using the latest generation of stoneworking technology at all phases of production. Among them, the company added a new line for marble and onyx that allows it to expertly process some of the most fragile materials in the world. The 300-meter-long line has state-of-the-art polishing and resin-application equipment.
Antolini’s facilities in Italy feature a range of innovations to showcase the company’s materials. This includes the “Stone Gallery,” a new concept in presenting stone, which includes over 5,000 square meters of space. With an open layout that includes book-matched stone slabs as well as stone artwork on the walls, the Stone Gallery is an upscale showroom for Antolini’s signature materials.
