Rock of Ages, a large U.S. stone producer based in Barre, VT, introduces Stanstead Gray granite, which is quarried in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada.
The granite – comprised of more than 30% quartz which makes it very hard – is a consistent gray color with white speckles.
While the stone has primarily been used for monuments, Rock of Ages is now introducing it to the building market.
