The standard dual-table Robo SawJet allows fabricators to produce a fully cut slab on one table, while the other table is being unloaded and reloaded, which doubles production. Robo SawJet produces a slab approximately every 20 minutes. The direct-drive saw maximizes cutting time doing straight cuts, and then switches to a precision waterjet for tight angles and curves. The waterjet also allows for nesting pieces close together, thus saving material costs. By placing the robot between the two tables, Robo SawJet provides a small footprint for a busy granite fabricator’s production floor.
The software included in BACA Systems’ Robo SawJet includes VeinMatch and VIM. VeinMatch allows you to easily optimize material flow for beauty or for yield. Not only is it a sales tool, but also a cost savings tool. VIM, Virtual Inventory Management, shows customers a high-resolution photo of their exact slab for their project. The online photographic database allows searches by color, name or size and the bar coding system makes it easy to manage inventory.
