COLUMBUS, OH -- Clifford Hammond, 81, of Columbus, OH, passed away April 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1933 in Delta, KY, to the late Denney and Beulah (Morrow) Hammond. Hammond was the owner of North Shore Stone quarry in Flatrock, as well as a yard in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Lynna Turpin, Raylah Hammond, Lee Bianchi, Henderson Hammond, Jean Windels, Clyde Hammond, Brent Hammond, Charles Hammond, Conley Hammond, Don Hammond and Marc Hammond.

He is survived by his wife Donna (Brewington) Hammond; sons Denney (Jodi) Hammond and Bryan (Vanessa) Hammond; grandchildren lan, Seth and Cloe; siblings Nellie New, Robert Hammond, Jo Powels, Del Hammond, Wanda Fese and Ron Hammond. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Spence-Miller Funeral Home in Grove City, OH. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Monticello, KY.
