CARROLLTON, TX -- American Tile & Stone, an operating subsidiary of Acme Brick Co., is nearing a complete conversion to a totally company-owned fleet of delivery trucks. Previously, the company-owned portion was 90% of the total fleet with the goal of being 100% by mid-2015. "Having our own trucks enables us to have complete control of our scheduling without any compromise, and will be a critical factor as we expand our distribution area," said Bob Hendon, Vice President and General Manager for ATS.  "It's another great milestone in this our 50^th anniversary year."

 The company has locations throughout Texas in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Fort Worth and a 125,000-square-foot distribution center in Dallas. It is in the process of completing a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and storage facility in Houston, as well.
