At the recent annual meeting of the National Building Granite Quarries Association (NBGQA), Anne Marie Ramos was elected to a two-year term as the new President. Ramos is the Chief Financial Officer of New England Stone Industries, Georgia Stone Industries and Fletcher Granite Co.  The NBGQA, an almost 100 year-old association, is comprised of the major granite producers in the U.S. In addition to the three companies Ramos represents, members include: Coldspring, Rock of Ages, North Carolina Granite Co., Dakota Granite Co., Missouri Red Quarries, Swenson Granite Co., Williams Granite Co. and Anderson Bros. & Johnson/Michels.  The NBGQA is a member association of the Natural Stone Council.
