CARROLLTON, TEXAS -- Bob Hendon, American Tile & Stone’s (ATS) Vice President and General Manager has announced that the company has recently expanded its distribution network with a new 140,000 square-foot showroom and warehouse in northwest Houston at 8760 Clay Road. The new location will support the company's growing footprint in Texas and adjacent states while adding about 35 jobs to the local economy. "This beautiful new facility will be able to serve our commercial customers' needs in all of the Houston metropolitan area, Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle", said Hendon. "Our expansion plans are on track and have made ATS the fastest growing flooring distributor in the U.S. based on year-to-date sales and we've done it without acquisitions.  Our next expansion target is Colorado, and we'll be announcing details within the next month."

ATS has also added a full range of new flooring products to their offerings including: wood flooring, luxury vinyl, carpet, natural stone and even artificial turf. These new product collections will be exclusive to ATS due to their strong partnership with quality/name brand manufacturers. The company is continuing a fast-paced but controlled expansion with all products being delivered by ATS's own fleet of delivery vehicles. "We believe that owning your means of product delivery is critical in the 'wholesale only' distribution business.  It means you can absolutely count on delivery timetables", said Hendon.

The company now has showrooms/warehouses in San Antonio (35,000 square-feet), Houston (140,000 square-feet), Fort Worth (25,000 square-feet), a 125,000 square- foot distribution center in Dallas and coming soon showrooms/warehouses in Denver (20,000 square-feet) and Longview (50,000 square-feet).
