BETHANY, CT -- Laticrete, a manufacturer of globally proven construction solutions for the building industry, announced the introduction of the Hydro Ban® Linear Drain in wedge wire, a low profile linear floor drain specifically designed for bonded waterproofing installations with Hydro Ban waterproofing membrane. As with all Hydro Ban Linear Drains, this wedge wire drain also allows for the use of large format tile or stone installations in showers with a single plane slope.

"Keeping the simplicity and style of the Hydro Ban Linear Drains, Laticrete is now offering a new, high-end linear drain grate design, wedge wire linear drains," said Jay Conrod, Product Manager for the Hydro Ban shower system products. "Wedge wire drains are offered in all the standard lengths and custom sizes are available upon request."

Hydro Ban Linear Drains are available with a standard vertical waste line. It is a two piece drain with a trough and removable grate, available in six lengths and three grate styles; tile in, offset oval and now, wedge wire. "Constructed out of a heavy duty 304L stainless steel and offered in polished or brushed finishes, this new linear drain will add a plush, upscale look and feel to any shower," said Conrod.

In sync with all Hydro Ban Linear Drains, the Hydro Ban Linear Drain in wedge wire is available in 24- (61 cm), 32- (81 cm), 36- (91 cm), 42- (107 cm), 48- (122 cm) and 60-inch (152 cm) lengths. Suitable substrates include concrete, exterior glue plywood, cement backer board and cement mortar bed. The wedge wire drain is available for exterior and interior use in showers, industrial, commercial and residential bathrooms and laundries, kitchens and food processing areas, terraces, decks and balconies.
