NEW YORK, NY -- For its innovation and sustainability, NEOLITH® + PURETi treatment for self-cleaning and sustainable facades, stands with the "Gold Medal" of the prestigious Edison Awards, held in ballroom of the Capitale in New York City a few days earlier.
After being announced as a finalist last February for the Edison Awards, NEOLITH® + PURETi has finally won the highest award: the Gold Medal. This is PURETi's second Edison Award and first Gold Medal from this distinguished award that aims to recognize innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy.
The NEOLITH® + PURETi treatment offers architects and designers a sustainable surface treatment for residential and commercial building façades.
During the last months, the aforementioned treatment has been specified to cover the exterior cladding for three new residential towers under construction in New York City and the new Bay Area home of the Golden State Warriors.
The eco-friendly, photocatalytic PURETi surface treatment transforms NEOLITH® sintered stone façades into self-cleaning air purifiers – consequently reversing pollution, remarkably improving air quality and enabling the slabs to stay cleaner for longer periods of time.
