DALLAS, TX --Marazzi is honored to announce that the D_SegniÔ collection received an IIDA/HD Expo Product Design Award during the 2018 HD Expo in Las Vegas. A porcelain tile reinterpretation of traditional hand-made cement tiles found in Italy, D_Segni secured this win in the Flooring Hard Surfaces category.

The IIDA/HD competition acknowledges accomplishments in product design innovation, technical advancements, aesthetics, environmental responsibility and usage in hospitality applications. According to IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, “Winners of this year’s competition found innovative ways to leverage product design to craft a hospitality experience that offers travelers a place to escape while maintaining elements that feel like home.”
IIDA/HD entries were judged by a board of design professionals including Chris Evans, associate principal, Rottet Studio; Michelle Reichert, director – strategic sourcing, FF&E, MGM Resorts International; and Patricia Rotondo, IIDA, senior principal and director of interior design, Antunovich Associates.
