VERONA, ITALY -- To commemorate the launching of the Guidoni Concept – the first “one-stop shop” channel of the Guidoni Group (Brazil), the large stone producer has partnered with the Italian-Brazilian artist Luiz de Souza to create commemorative bags that mark the new moment of the company. At first, the pieces will be handed out during Marmomac 2018, which takes place from September 26 to 29 in Verona, Italy.
With works exhibited in different museums around the world, the canvases of Luiz de Souza present characters from Commedia dell’Arte in typically Italian landscapes, always with an element that alludes to this painter’s Brazilian roots. “Guidoni has adopted the vision of the artist as a way of paying homage to the cultural and artistic wealth of Italy, with the talent and vivaciousness of Brazil, our country of origin,” said Verônica Petrópolis, marketing manager of the Guidoni Group. “Moreover, Souza portrays Italian landscapes specifically from the region of Veneto, where Verona is located, a place where we are launching our first showroom-concept, an important strategic step in the international expansion of our brand.”
The value of the rights to use the image will be donated to the Brazilian NPO Atitude na Cabeça, which, since May of 2014 has been raising financial funding and contributions to help patients who have lost their hair during the treatment for cancer and similar diseases, in addition to offering silicone prostheses and micropigmentation of the breast for women who needed to have their breasts removed due to the disease.
