SECAUCUS, NJ – On Thursday, October 11, 2018, Artistic Tile will host the New Jersey Stone Summit at its facility, which is located at 520 Secaucus Road, Secaucus, NJ. The stone education session is one of 10 one-of-a-kind Stone Summits organized by Stone World and the Natural Stone Institute and held in various parts of the U.S.

Participants will benefit from a “Town Hall” environment that is tailored to the attendee and the topics most important to fabricators. Geared for business owners, marketing professionals and other employees interested in growing their business, networking with suppliers and/or learning “best practices” about running a successful fabrication business, the all-day event will be moderated by Tony Malisani of Malisani Inc.

The morning session will include:

• Review the 12 business axioms of the stone industry.
• Learn what resources are available to stone professionals when building and training your team.
• Discuss what makes your company stand out in the marketplace.

After lunch, participants will join breakout groups targeting their specific needs. The three smaller groups, which will be led by industry professionals, will cover business management (benchmarking, hiring and retaining employees, etc), technical issues (stone characteristics, technical standards, etc) and marketing (setting expectations, customer relations, etc).
