For this week’s Throwback Thursday we are looking at the very first January issue we ever published, Volume 2, Number 1, printed in January 1985. The Publisher’s Position discussed information shortages in all aspects of the stone business. Mike Lench wrote about architects, interior designers and other professionals that are involved with stone selection and use it, who are unfamiliar with the value, the range of choice, the capability and the availability of these materials. One of the sections that hoped to inform readers about the different options of stone out there, was the Report on Limestone.
