Cosentino Group, a global leader in the production and distribution of innovative architectural and design surfaces, is celebrating its 21st annual “Cosentino 100” convention held in the Riviera Maya (Mexico). One of the most important events for the stone, decoration and remodeling sectors in North America, the convention draws leading customers and partners to learn the latest from the Spain-based manufacturer. This year’s Cosentino 100 sets a new record, bringing together more than 470 guests from 164 manufacturing and processing companies across the U.S. and Canada.
Cosentino 100 kicked off Monday, January 28, and will conclude Thursday, January 31. This year’s theme, “Inspiring People with Innovative Surfaces” reflects the company’s continued commitment to celebrate its customers and partners–rooted in the shared values of innovation, quality, and workplace safety. In addition to learning the industry latest from Cosentino executive leadership, guests can explore new product launches, including the Loft and Eternal Collections from Silestone, the Dekton Stonika Collection, and Dekton Slim–the incredible new 4mm ultra-compact surface–all of which have received tremendous acclaim in January at the Interior Design Show (IDS) in Toronto.
In his opening speech, Cosentino president, Francisco Martínez-Cosentino, thanked the guests and invited them to join the company in its spirit of innovation: “Continue innovating and investing in sustainability and a higher level of digitalization in order to be efficient, reach clients adequately and strengthen the growth of all the industry. From our side we will continue with our commitment with the North American market, offering the best possible service to all our clients to be better every day.”
The convention’s reputation throughout the industry also draws leading professional organizations, including leadership from American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the Marble Institute of America (MIA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA). Renowned multimedia artist and motivational speaker Phil Hansen and chief economist of the Associated General Contractors of America Ken Simonson are among the convention’s speakers and lecturers.
