The Cosentino Group, a leading global company in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for the world of architecture and design, is celebrating the 21st instalment of its annual “Cosentino 100” convention held in the Riviera Maya (Mexico). During this event – which is one of the most important for the stone, decoration and remodelling sectors in North America – the Spanish multinational company will gather its main customers and partners of the region. This year, the Convention is bringing together a record number of attendees (more than 470 people), as well as 164 manufacturing and processing companies from the US and Canada.
The growing status of this event is highlighted by the large presence of some of the most important associations in the sector with regional and international influence. These include the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the Marble Institute of America (MIA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA). What’s more, the event also counts on the participation of important speakers and lecturers, such as the renowned multimedia artist and motivational speaker Phil Hansen, as well as Ken Simonson, chief economist of the Associated General Contractors of America.
The theme of this year’s Convention, which was kicked off on Monday and will come to a close on Thursday 1 February, is “At the Top with Cosentino“: With this, the company strives to recognise the commitment of its customers and partners to Cosentino, as well as the shared values of innovation, quality and workplace safety. The event will also be the place where attendees can find out more about the latest product launches, such as the Eternal and Loft collections by Silestone®, the Stonika series and the incredible new 4 mm ultra-compact Dekton® surface. As in previous years, these new products have already been shared with resounding success at the recent Interior Design Show (IDS) in Toronto.
Francisco Martínez-Cosentino, President of the Spanish multinational company, during his opening speech he thanked the guests and invited them to: “continue innovating and investing in sustainability and a higher level of digitalization in order to be efficient, reach clients adequately and strengthen the growth of all the industry . From our side we will continut with our commitment with the North American market, offering the best possible service to all our clients to be better every day”, concluded Martínez-Cosentino.
