CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Intermac has announced its schedule for the fall edition of Inside Intermac Stone to be held on the Biesse Group Campus near Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in Charlotte October 23rd and 24th. The agenda is packed with need-to-know information for companies that work in stone and have an eye on expanding their capabilities now or in the future.

On Wednesday, October 23rd, participants can register for two sessions led by Mark Meriaux, Accreditation and Technical Manager for the Natural Stone Institute. Like many Inside Intermac attendees, Meriaux has invaluable owner-operator experience -- he formerly ran his own countertop fabrication shop in Atlanta, Ga. Now, in addition to leading the accreditation process for the National Stone Institute, he runs 1-Day Stone Industry Education workshops. His information-intensive sessions at Inside Intermac are “Fabricating Is a Team Sport” and “Turnover Cure: How to Attract and Keep Good People.”

Other Wednesday sessions include Intermac Finance Manager Stan Ragley’s “Financing Without Frustration” and “Your New Superpower: CNC Tool Efficiency” led by Peter Hauser, V.P. of Sales, Diamut North America - Stone, Diamut America. Learning from these two Intermac and Diamut insiders will get you up-to-speed with the financial and operational issues you need to address right now.

Thursday, October 24 is Ceramic Day, featuring a series of sessions designed to help guests evaluate the opportunities in new ceramic trends. You’ll gain insights about trends and the current and future potential of the porcelain market with guidance from Ron Hannah CEO of Cadenza Granite, an early adopter of ceramic technology, as well as EVP National Accounts W. Todd Ward from StonePeak Ceramics and Filippo Emanuel CEO from Tenax America. You’ll also be treated to a showroom tour that will show you how Intermac, Donatoni and Montresor can speed your journey when you add ceramic to your fabricating toolkit. Afterwards, you can participate in a hands-on fabrication session to assemble a ceramic countertop.

“This is shaping up to be our best Inside Intermac event ever,” said Michele Ragno, Vice President of Sales, Stone Division for Intermac America. “All our sessions are designed to help pave the way to any size fabricator’s future success, speeding production, saving labor costs, and increasing productivity. It’s a chance to talk one-to-one with highly knowledgeable product managers who have worked in the industry for decades, see the latest-and-greatest machines in action, and learn from other fabricators who have implemented strategies and technologies you may be eager to explore.”
