In less than a year it will be that time again, when the 21st round of Stone+tec takes place at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 17 to 20 June 2020. This international trade fair for natural stone and stone technology is where industry experts gather for professional knowledge-sharing. They can also look forward to a diverse supporting program. As well as special shows, panel discussions and high-Caiberpresentations, several awards ceremonies form an integral part of the event. Stone+tec receives active support from major industry associations.

Over his 25-year career in glass and stone processing for architectural applications, Kerry Clark had never been asked to find a tooling solution for creating artifacts for an art exhibition. Then one day, Clark, who is brand sales manager for Diamut America’s glass division, received a call from Miles Driscoll, design engineering manager at Precision Stone in Long Island, NY.
The Xiamen Stone Fair is seeking speakers for its World Stone Congress (WSC) educational program at the 2019 edition of the exhibition, which is scheduled from March 6th to 9th. WSC is a series of events and seminars dedicated to discovering trends and innovations in the stone industry.
Last month, I made the long journey to China to attend the Xiamen Stone Fair. While I had been to Shanghai many years ago, this was my first time in Xiamen. I have heard more and more about the stone show, and was interested to experience it first-hand.
With more than 81,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors, the 29th edition of Cersaie, held in Bologna, Italy, from September 20 to 24, 2011 featured an extensive variety of tile products, including collections with nature-mimicking designs such as wood, leaves and flowers, as well as large-format styles in updated colors and unexpected textures.
Tile manufacturers and other industry professionals from around the world gathered in Valencia, Spain, from Tuesday, February 8 to Friday, February 11 for Cevisama 2011, the Ceramic, Natural Stone and Bath Equipment Show. The exhibition, which celebrated its 29th edition, is held annually and has become a landmark industry event.
As fall approaches, another trade show season is set to begin. A week from now, I will be in Verona, Italy, touring the expansive exhibit halls at Marmomacc -- the world's largest stone exhibition.
