New York-based architect Charles Rabinovitch of Charles Rabinovitch Architects recently completed a renovation of a townhouse on the Eastside of Manhattan. An extensive selection of natural stone was incorporated into the design to make the home luxurious, yet practical.

Designed by architect Beverley David Thorne in 1963, it was an experimental project to build a steel-framed house on a steeply sloping site and to demonstrate how to construct it without tearing up the natural terrain in the way usually required by conventional building.

Introduced earlier this year, the United Airlines Polaris seats improved upon the airline’s business class seats on international routes. To be able to give passengers a full experience, United Airlines also created a new luxury passenger lounge, United Polaris.
