Deemed the stone event for stone industry professionals, StonExpo/Marmomac is a B2B stone exhibition under The International Surface Event (TISE) brand. At the beginning of each year, the show draws thousands of people from across the globe to exhibit, as well as to tour the exhibition hall.
As we often do at the end of the year, myself and our staff took some time to look back on 2018 to reflect on what we have done and come up with some fresh ideas for our readers. And in particular, 2019 is an important year to put some special plans into place, as we will be celebrating Stone World’s 35th anniversary.

If the crowds in the aisles at Marmomac 2018 are an indicator of the state of the stone industry, it appears things are on the upswing. Throughout the four-day event, the halls on the fairgrounds of VeronaFiere in Verona, Italy, were filled with 68,000 stone industry professionals.
