Two years ago, Coldspring recognized an opportunity to acquire a business for producing StoneLite natural stone panels, and through its expertise and investment it is experiencing growing success with Stone Panels International LLC in Marble Falls, TX.
Stony Creek granite is one of the oldest granites in the nation. The site operated by Stony Creek Quarry is surrounded by a land trust and owned by the town of Branford. “We have the honor of being an intimate part of the town,” said Tom Cleveland, the company’s director of sustainability.
Members of the Midwest Chapter of the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) will gather on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 to tour Coldspring’s NSC 373 Platinum Certified Charcoal quarry and discuss how sustainability impacts a business.
