We have quite a stunning piece of stone architecture on the cover of this issue. Not only are the complex angles and shape of the building unique, but the hues and striations of the stone itself are pretty incredible. The structure is the James Museum in St. Petersburg, FL.

In a starry sky, the Moon is a swing amongst the clouds that show the way to travelers. In the city that made the Moon inspiration for Dante’s sonnets, it gives the name to a deluxe hotel a few steps away from the River Arno: The Moon Boutique Hotel.
There was a large turnout among fabricators in the Milwaukee, WI, area for the stone industry education event, which was hosted by Universal Granite & Marble (UGM)
Universal Granite & Marble (UGM) graciously opened their doors to 30 fabricators, in addition to other members of the stone industry, for the Wisconsin Stone Summit, which is organized by the Natural Stone Institute (NSI).
2018 has definitely been busy so far. I've traveled everywhere from Vegas to Xiamen to Atlanta to our headquarters in MI. In the last few weeks, I have visited the Natural Stone Institute’s office in Oberlin, OH, and one of our workshops in Milwaukee, WI.
Landscape architect Derek Kalp collaborated closely with a design team to develop the healing garden at Mount Nittany Medical Center, located in State College, PA, with the objective to offer peace and solace for patients and guests during their stay.
