At the start of each year, Stone World shares its fabricator purchasing plan survey with our readers, which serves as a gauge to how business will fair during the coming year.

In this issue of Contemporary Stone & Tile Design, we have a focus on “Architectural Products.” While this can apply to a range of components of a design, we chose to take a look at the installation and maintenance products used for various projects. 

Enthusiasm among fabricators is noted in the annual purchasing plan survey conducted by the Market Research Department at BNP Media (Stone World’s parent company).

Held annually in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, the 2016 edition of the Vitória Stone Fair | Marmomacc Latin America will take place from February 16 to 19.

Founded in 1990, Andrade S/A Marmores e Granitos of Serra, ES, Brazil — part of the Andrade Group — is a large-scale stone producer with several locations within Brazil.

The exhibition halls at Marmomacc were a flurry of activity this year — with attendance up 3% from the last edition.

We are now in the final stretch of 2015, and looking back, it seems it was a pretty good year.

As the year begins to wind down, I reflect on everywhere I have been and conversations I have had over the past 11 months.
