“Urban-Apron” is the newest product Chemcore Industries has developed. It is a very unique sink offering several attractive and new ideas for the rapidly growing “Handmade” looking “Farmhouse Apron” style of sink.
The sink features a shorter apron front (6 ½ inches), which unlike many modern apron front sinks allows it to be used in most standard cabinets. On most apron front sinks the fronts are usually between 8 to 10 inches, dropping low enough to prevent standard cabinet doors from opening, but this new sink eliminates this problem.
Additionally, the sink features an open area between the sink bowl and the front apron, which allows the sink to drop over the cabinet edge. This means it is no longer necessary to cut out the cabinet front to allow the sink to fit.
