For the last few years, the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) has been hosting groups of industry professionals to various countries around the world — including Brazil, China, Italy and Turkey — as part of its efforts to promote the use of natural stone in design.

Marmomac will celebrate its 53rd edition this fall. Thousands of exhibitors and visitors will converge at Veronafiere in Verona, Italy, from September 26 to 29, 2018 to take part in the global event and view the latest product developments.
Marmomac, the leading international stone industry trade show, is offering free online pre-registration to selected trade visitors. By pre-registering, visitors will be able to print their own free four-day pass (one entry per day) and avoid lines to purchase admission to the show.

The large boisterous crowd that congregated outside the gates of Veronafiere on the opening morning of Marmomac was certainly an indicator to the success of the international stone exhibition, which is held annually at the fairgrounds in Verona, Italy.
As the result of violence caused by a strike of the military police in February, the Vitoría Stone Fair/Marmo+Mac Latin America cancelled its original date, but has regrouped and set June 6 to 9 as its new dates.
The Egyptian marble, granite and alabaster sector now ranks eighth in the world, with exports of stone materials up by 490% in quantity over the last eight years.
