exhibition by Coverings Spectrum Select and a panel of judges. Now in its
second year, Coverings Spectrum Select is a partnership between Coverings and Contract magazine, and it was created to
honor those tile and stone products that reflect outstanding design,
engineering and technological innovation, and that set new standards in
aesthetics and performance.
VANCOUVER, CANADA -- Edgewater Studio has added Art
Glass Mosaics to its collection of custom tiles. With individual pieces
approximately 2 inches high, the collection continues the Studio's tradition of
offering continuous, flowing designs, coupled with an array of color choices,
allowing clients to create unique installations that range from elegant to

Architects, based in Columbus, OH,
selected the Black Gold Blend from the Tivoli
series by Hakatai for the new Thaijindesu Thai and
Sushi Bar, a contemporary fusion-style restaurant in beachside Newport News, VA.
The iridescent glass mosaic tile, which is produced with recycled content, was
employed for the face of an enclosed half-circle bar and two hosting stations
in the lounge as well as an island-style service station in the main dining
room.
NEW YORK, NY -- Silestone, a leader in quartz surfacing, hosted cocktails and a private viewing of Counter Space: Design and the Modern Kitchen at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City on Monday, October 18, 2010. VALENCIA, SPAIN -- Last winter, Tile of Spain launched the "Reign in Spain A&D Tour" program to select four architects and interior designers to participate in a free, week-long architectural tour that visited various regions of Spain as well as Cevisama, the International Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings Show held annually in Valencia, Spain. And due to the program's initial success, the Reign in Spain is once again set for 2011.
